Vampires are not like the movies they drunk blood for there health psi camps suck energy at of people

you can't become a vampire physically,as others said,you cant change your "DNA" with magick.but i have heard about energy vamps(psi vamps) that you should be born one.or learn how to drain energy.

I blame the movies like Underworld and Twilight, as well as anime.
These silly kids and their foolish desires to be vampires or werewolves, or werevamps as some like to pretend to be.
It has become a romantic image thanks to authors and directors.

I see a lot of this conversation on som and its upsetting that so many acclaimed occultists have diminished the value of left hand path vampyre. Being a vampyre could be similar to being a shaman. It has no physical changes that are any different than anyone else. It is simply following a path of spirituality. Vampyre practice energy works and how to manipulate energy interactions. This not a vampyre specific trait. Anyone can do this, however vampyrism focuses on a very left hand approach. Everything is derived from self. That being said I can understand the confusion with some, but the blatant disregard and oblivion of truth is no different than Hollywood. Perhaps, before you decide to announce your world known knowledge of vampyrism, you should spend more time studying the true intellect involved. Som want against vampires in calling them fluffy, this is a new development.

then look into sanguine, you're human, but you're living life as a vampire. its a type of make-believe, but who cares as long as you know you are human, and you aren't harming anyone.
