The irony of the name, but yes, it is very possible to follow that path. i think its just the fact that many christians hate pagans that it makes it rather ironic that one could be both.
Islam is way more anti-pagan than Christianity and that hasn't stopped me from managing to work it into my own pagan life.
While one can't combine unrelated religions as they are, I really haven't found any religions which cannot be reinterpreted into existing together as a cohesive whole.

This entire conversation hinges on one pivotal thing...the Bible. The Bible speaks out against witches and condemns them to both death and Hell. Now you can be a Christian and not believe the Bible. The Gnostic Christians did a pretty good job of this until they were massacred by the spiritual ancestors of the Christians we know today. So you can believe in Jesus believe in God believe in the Holy Spirit and be a witch so long as you don't believe in the Bible. The Bible restricts Christianity and makes it an orthodoxic (right belief) religion. You either follow the Bible to the letter as best you can or you aren't a Christian. Being a witch is quite obviously going against the Bible.
It's also possible to only believe certain parts of the Bible. The books of the Bible spent dozens, sometimes hundreds of years as an oral tradition before it was ever written, and this has a tendency toward things being changed, added, or forgotten. There is also just a huge amount of human editing involved. The four gospels in the Bible aren't the only gospels that have ever existed, they're just the only ones early Christians were able to agree upon. And we still don't know who wrote the Book of Revelations, and Biblical scholar Elaine Pagels suggests that it may be nothing more than anti-Roman propaganda about the destruction of Jerusalem.
One can easily (and rationally) believe that the Bible is largely correct without believing every last element therein.

Forgive me if this has already been pointed out, as I didn't get a chance to read the entire page.
If you think of everything, including spirits such as Jesus Christ, as energy, then it's quite possible to practice witchcraft and also pray to Jesus. This days i practice witchcraft very much in lots of things and topics ,and I do find myself praying to my god(and the Angels, Spirit Guides, God, , and my Higher Self) when I really want help with something. I figure that they are all powerful and they all have the ablitiy to help so I don't limit myself to just one deity.
Many people who have been raised Christian but then converted to paganism/witchcraft, find that it has become a habit for them to pray to Jesus when they need something, and it's not something they particularly want to give up. So, since they obviously don't believe in the Bible, or they wouldn't be practicing witchcraft in the first place, it's easy to see how they can be a witch AND believe in Jesus Christ. And since believing in Jesus Christ is technically what makes you Christian, there is actually no need to believe in the entire Bible. (Actually, I think Jesus may tell you to believe in the Bible, but that was also before it was edited beyond all recognition, so who knows what it said originally?)
I used to have a lot of trouble understanding the term "Christian Witch" and I would argue with people about how you couldn't actually be a Christian Witch due to the Bible saying that witchcraft was wrong. But, the more I opened my eyes and my mind, the more I was able to see that you can pretty much be ANYTHING that you want in this world. It doesn't matter what other people believe or what the Bible says. If you feel an affinity with Jesus, then worship Jesus! That doesn't mean you have to believe in the Bible and follow everything it says to do. Even Christians don't actually follow the Bible (how many Christian women do you know that cover their heads?)
Want to practice witchcraft and pray to Jesus at the same time? Who is going to stop you? It may be confusing to some people but it's not going to stop you from actually doing that if that's what you desire.
I used to not understand how gay people could be Christian. Nearly all of the gay people I had ever met were Christian. I couldn't comprehend how they would want to be involved in a religion that despised them. But now I can see that it's simple to understand... They were raised Christian. They found out that they were gay. That didn't change the fact that they felt a connection to Jesus Christ. It's difficult to change habits and beliefs that have been ingrained since you were a child.

I'm sorry to hear thatfew people really think that christians can not practice witchcraft, and few of them even have bad purpuses.My ownfreind (whom I still see regularly since we live close to each other) doesn't want her friends to know thatshe is not a Christian, but that is mainly because I have told her that kids will be more accepting of her if she doesn't mention it. It's still extremely rare in Tennessee to find anyone who isn't Christian. This doesn't affect me on a day-to-day basis, but it could easily affect a kid who is in school. They could be ostracized, teased, or even bullied if the other kids found out that their family wasn't Christian. Kids can be very cruel to one another.
You could point out to every one in such a bad situation the fact that most kids never talk about religion at all. It's not something that people generally discuss in casual conversation. That might helpeveryone understand that it's not the huge deal she thinks it is.
People may feel guilty becausethey sometimes wishthey had a "normal" parents (i am talking about kids of witches) whowere Christians. There are christian witches, as i said, and it is possible, but not all people like it so much. The christianity forbids witchcraft, but we do not have to listen to all of what the bible says. For example, i am a jewish witch and i am proud of it.
Few christians do not do it, and few of them are deeply up to witchcraft, and they can prove it is possible. Brightest Blessings,

christianity is a monotheistic faith, where there is one god and one god only. wicca is duotheistic, and therefore the two dont mix. however, you can be a christian witch, since in order to be a witch you can be of any faith you want.
I believe that all religions are connected even wicca. The truth is all religious belive in a god or goddess or many. The basic idea behind these gods is to show the way but to let us grow and learn and love.
I don't believe it's possible to be a Christian Wiccan. How can you be two religions with some very differing moral codes and beliefs? It's like being a Jewish Muslim.
