Love Spells
By:
I believe that many spells do work but one thing I couldn’t quite get my head into was love spells...!
I believe in free will...to me free will is not as simple straight forward choice..no...it is something you feel in your heart that you know you love it but can’t explain why..you just do..it is right for you
So it brings me to this....How can you push free will? If it’s not in their heart then how can you make them turn and change what’s in their heart? WHY would you wish to do it?
Would you feel right by casting a love spell on to someone that never had the heart to love you to begin with? And say it actually works, would there be a tiny part of you that would feel it’s not truly them?

Maybe I don’t understand it all (which is why I came here) but I have a big conscience and I know it would eat away at me (always does) if I were to cast a love spell. My attitude has always been – If you don’t love me for who and what I am, then don’t waste my time!!..... Sounds a tad sarky I know but I feel better knowing that my partner loves me for ME.....

Now question is – Am I wrong? Is there things I fail to get? If so please tell me, as I am keen to hear your thoughts

I agree completely.

I wouldn't be able to stand wondering if I was loved for being the adorable witty goddess I am ( =P ) or because I took away someone's choice.

People have different views on it, but I am with you on this one.

I strongly believe in KARMA...which is why I couldn't bring myself to do it

Love from a family member - I feel the same...like my dad, from I was 6yrs old I knew he didn't love me as a daughter and he was good at showing it, telling me how much he hates me ect ect....as hurt as I am, I wouldn't want to cast a spell on him...for the same reasons as I previously posted....

I don't believe that it would be real love! But only an ilusion that when it finishes, the person would find no explanation posible to have felt the way he or she did. I think he or she would think it was a total mistake. Anyway there's always someone for one,who will at least once in your life fall in love with you.But it's only what I think.

You are right, it sure wouldn't feel like real love, at least not from the person that casts the spell

Well, I go to the library, there I met a nice girl, I like her, I casted a love spell, and from then, when she sees me, she always laughs, But then I thought that I liked her me because of the spell, but she doesn't know it, so it's free will then, although you said the spell.

If she doesn't know it then how can it be her free will?

I am not sure if the spells actually bend someone's will, rather I think that they probably amplify what that person thinks of you in a positive manner. So in reality it just makes the person more likely to accept your advances.

I think putting all spells that deal with love in the same boat destroys an important nuance. Causing love can have different interpretations. It might be an illusion, or it might be true.

Casting a spell to make a person of your choice immediately fall in love with you is quite futile to my eyes. It's egoistic, destructive for both you and your victim, and it is simply an illusion. That's messing with free will; I won't bash at someone who choses to do so, but I would regret anyone to cast this kind of spell without realizing it's actually harming the target, and probably the caster too, in the long end.

On the other hand, I deeply believe everyone is equal, and all deserve love. On that point of view, pushing someone to see the beauty in you is not necessarily messing with free will.In fact, it can be quite effective to help someone, say, that would be seeing the dark side of everything. The only danger that remains is that your heart must be pure; it's easy to mistake true love for egoistic desire, trust me. And that second kind of opinion is, always, going to back fire right at you.

With all this said, I think Love Spells can be a very good thing, but must be cast with a great deal of maturity. Be careful what you wish for.
