is it possible to make this site about positive magic only? I hate seeing posts about people wanting to curse/harm others. That isnt what Magic is all about. The wiccan rede states that you shouldnt harm others so how can you allow so many curses/hexes to be put in the spellbooks? i think this is important for everyone to realise. if someone has wronged you, dont start thinking about revenge, the threefold law will come back on them.

I'm not a moderator...as you can see. Not everyone on this site is wiccan, so not everyone adheres to the rede. For instance, I myself follow "do what thou wilt, shall be the whole of the law." This isn't to say I negate "an it harm none". I just know it's not in my will to harm any without provocation.
None of us here condone the use of curses or hexes, and we respect those that wish to base a path solely in white magick, or positivity. However, it's important to know that "it takes all kinds". Without negativity the positive would go unrecognized and vice-versa. Things have to have a balance.
The best thing I could tell you, is if you don't like what you see, don't practice it.
Not everyone is Wiccan, follows the rede, and some do not follow the rules of Karma either.
Personally, I will scold someone who looks for help with hex's and curses. But that's just me. I think the ones who are seeking help to do it are the one's that can't. Though I am aware there are people who can, will and do. That's on them. I may have an opinion on it, but it's not my place to stop them. Balance is needed in all things.

I hate seeing posts where someone trys to push thier beliefs of karma or the threefold law or the rede on others......
magick predates ALL religion!
it doesnt matter what the rede states.....not all of us are wiccan, those of us who are not wiccan dont have to worry about wiccan rules......just like you dont have to worry about christian rules......
I do hope no one acts like a fundie and says anything along the lines of "it doesnt matter WHAT you believe, it still affects you"
because it DOES matter what we believe, its ok that you believe in the rede and karma (three fold law), but that doesnt mean that I have to.....or anyone else has to.
just like you dont worry about the christian hell because you dont believe in that religion, in the same way i dont worry about your rede because i dont believe in it.
your heart is.....well actually its NOT in the right place....censorship of knowledge is NEVER right.
I am a staunch supporter of using magick as a last resort. and i do believe many people coming here looking for curses dont know what they are doing nor are they mature enough to use them.
but this site should NOT become fluffy.....we are all very diverse around here.....we all hold different ideas and beliefs.....no one is better than someone else......and so this idea in and of itself while having no bearing on my opinion of you is in my opinion utterly disgusting.
As much as I dislike seeing these kinds of posts wanting to do harm to others for no given reason.I have to agree with the others.We cant pick and choose what we want to allow to be posted here and what we dont.In doing that we would become no better than many other grooups that have decided that their way was the only way.With me I personally dont care what rede they may follow,I answer only to myself and my God.For me its a matter of free speech/free religeon. Unfortunatly its alot easier to start censoring things than it is to stop...just my 2 cnts
I would never try to censor black magick since I am a user of Black magick myself. I agree that people wanting spells to hex and curses shouldn't be doing them because they probably have no idea as to what they are doing.
I personally dont believe in Karma and I'm not a wiccan. This isnt a wiccan website either. We are of different religions here.
I feel your heart is in the right place for wanting us to be positive but we are all different and cersoring 1 half of a whole doesnt do any good especially when most of us are on that other half.
im wiccan but i dont believe we should impose ourselves on everyone...thats just silly, this is a site that unifies all magic users, no matter what kind of magic that is
i wasnt trying to stiffle peoples beliefs but isnt showing people how to use curses in others the same as handing them a knife and saying go ahead stab all you like?
