should we fear our own death? i would be intrested to know what others think about life after death is there any thing els other than the hear and now? i know what i belive what do you think!
I don't see the point in fearing it. Especially since it's something that cannot be avoided at any cost. This sounds depressing but at the end of the day, we live to die, and we live to learn. We just have to make the most of what we've got whilst we are alive, and enjoy it.
I believe it's just another journey and the only pain I feel about death, is the pain for those the person has left behind.

It all comes down to person's beliefs about the afterlife.
Personally I don't fear death. I see it as a continuation of my existance.

Honestly I go back and forth about it,not with fear though.I somtimes feel so limited in this body that I would like to be free of it,at other times I would like to stay in it and enjoy the things the flesh can enjoy. Then there are days that I just wish it would all seace, and I wouldnt be aware or sense anything,Im not sure how I feel about it but I dont fear it
I can't say I fear my death, I don't know what will happen when I die and to be perfectly honest I don't care, so long as we make every day we have alive count then I don't think matters what happens after it all ends
I think we fear the pain involved with death, the leaving loved ones behind but most of all we fear the unknown. No one really knows what happens when we die. We all have our beliefs but each one of us has to walk this pathway alone.
What we have to do now is the learn all we can and enjoy this life we have.
i don't fear death, that i can say with all honesty, if i was to pass i know i have done enough in this life to both leave my legacy and give me enough to hold onto to move forward, i'm actually a bit amped for my death one day cause then no more physical bs ever again, gonna make sure of that.
Everyone can experience the sensation of death, the physical sensation of passing out and away from yourself into pure light by a technique called ego death and it is something i recommend for everyone to have at least once in their life, because the moment ego fully dies before you enter a state of pure conciousness every bit of normal concious thinking is switched off, you cannot do anything, you aren't within your body and it feels like the eyes of the univers are upon you, but once this passes, once you've reached the point where the physical is just a vessel for you carrying something so much more you aren't limited by fear of death, you embrace it, and once you embrace it it's almost as if it stops looming over your shoulder. but that's my two cents worth, and it's African cents so it's not worth too much on the global stock exchange i guess.
