It can be in any language (how do you think the ancients did spells?)and it doesn't necessairly have to rhyme. There's a book called 'Power Spellcraft for Life' which is a good book on creating your onw spell. This book tells you how to craft low magickal spells, but once you get the hang of creating them then you can start making high spells as well.
personally I think a little time and thought put into the process can go a long way. What exactly do you want to achieve with a spell,be very specific.Any language you speak is what Id write it in.Asfar as rhyming, its not really that hard, but if you just cant,as long as the feeling and energy is there,I dont think it will matter
The only spells I have in English are those that aren't mine, but from some site, and I only don't translate them if the spellwords seem nasty powerful.
Rhyme is not important to anyone but Wiccans. I think one of the verses in the Rede is : to bind the spell every time, let the spell be said in rhyme.
As a person who deals with High Priest and priestess who have taught for years the methods going back through the ages and as a high level practitioner myself i have learnt that once you know everything's meanings such as Ex: the Black candles are used in black magic and quarts crystals are used in meditation and protection and grounding ones self. Once you know what everything's use is for, you will be able to create you own spells both Evil and good. Also the way you word can greatly affect the outcome of your spell.
I practise both Black and white magic and have been writing them for years and my own spell books which i use to teach my Own Coven.
well i usually think [after i know wat i want my spell to do]
of wat items or things that might help influence my spells like candles, herbs, crystals, incense and any other things that i think will help. then i think of how i would want to do the spell, like write it on paper an burn it after i say a verse of magick and if so would i light it with a match and drop it in a cauldron then on a windy day up in a high place let the wind blow away the ashes or mabey burn with a candle and keep the remains and put it in a bag. then after refering to the method i will generally think of the words i will say.
it doesn't nescisarily have to rhyme. the words are just so your conscious mind has something to do while your subconscious mind peforms the magick.
