Need to understand spell

Hello.
I wanted to put the full title of my topic in the subject but it seems that it can not fit...Anyway:

I would like some help from some of the users here because I want to understand this spell:

Medusa's Transformation Spell

Do it for 15 minutes at a time.
Most powerful before going to sleep.

Gaze into a picture of Medusa.
Then look into a mirror.
Make faces at yourself, emulate Medusa but do not look away.
Look into your own eyes and see who looks back.
Decide who you like the best and move to different people if you do not like.

Move between the image of Medusa and your own until you are sure who you want to be.


This spell is from my book called "The Element Encylopedia of 5000 Spells"

What I do not understand is this part: Make faces at yourself, emulate Medusa but do not look away.

Does this mean that after I have looked at the picture of Medusa for 15 minutes, I am then meant to make funny faces at myself for another 15 minutes or until I see a new face in the mirror?


If someone is to be so kind as to try and explain this spell for me then I would be very grateful.

it means look at the image aslong as nessecary just get the image in your head then continue with the spell do the facs for 15 minutes at a time you should look for the other face while doing this 15 minutes is just an interval of that process it could take more or less time
