There has been some discussion lately about the removal of a couple mods.
Shadow333 was removed by his request when some of the mod rules changed to accommodate the changing dynamics of the website.
tankgrrl was removed because she was intentionally causing problems with the mods in hope of getting banned, to gain sympathy and attention to drag people to yet another failing site of her own.
Shadow333 was a good mod, but as the site and the ranks of membership grows, rules have to change to accomidate the changes. And with each change and each new rule there will be some moderators who do not agree with them and who will request to leave. That is part of the normal growth of any site, and Shadow333's contributions will be sadly missed. He did a good job as a moderator and his contributions will live on in the site.
Saddly, I gave tankgrrl just to many chances, time and time again I allowed her to remain a moderator when I shouldn't, and that was my fault. I was mistaken that she could change and be able to handle even the smallest amount of responsibility. The inability to think with a clear head, and the intentional favoratism of members and leaking of private mod information required me to remove her. She stated publiclly that she would no longer be using her tankgrrl account and that her only reason for remaining on the site was to cause problems.

What are some of the Changing dynamics and or mod rules?
will they be listed on this site for us to see? or do they not affect non-moderators?
Luzifer.

I was wondering the same thing, Luz. I haven't been able to find any changes listed.
Why should you have your moderator spot back if you can't even capitalize your sentences? No offense, but its like giving a two year old kid a Uzi.

Will we be told what these changes are eventually?

If you are in need of mods I will be more than happy to help. I am for the most part always on this website and I do help a lot of people through private messages. I have also been a member of this website for two or three years now and I completely understand what is unacceptable.

I don't think this site needs more mods as they have more then needed. I do hope that things will get better.

With that being said, you should just concentrate on being a good member more than anything else. That means being helpful, posting sensibly with good grammar, no spamming or flaming, etc. Remember that being in a position of power does not automatically command respect. There are quite a few members who are well known and highly respected only because they are good members of the community and that is what you should be aiming at.
