hello bailey shadow wolf is right you are not going to convince your parents,they are not being cruel they are just being concerned,either way they are not going to convince you to stop learning,its a tricky situation to be in,doing it in secret may be the only way but this can have a bad affect in some ways,i suggest you kind of let them know your still reading up on it,but dont go into detail about the spells and magic you are practicing,study also the history of magic, reassure your parents that its something you have to do and that you will be careful and you are not doing any bad with it,other than this its hard to give advice when it comes to a parent and child,good luck Howler
You made me sign up just so i can try and help you. Their are my different types of magic and pratices. Almost all have a Hiarchy(sp?) and God at the top.
King Solomon is a good example. He wrote three books of the bible. He also wrote "Clavicula Salomonis" or The Lesser Key of Solomon. Google search it. It tell and shows how he banished and summoned demons. Apostle Paul was also recorded as he wrote about Solomon. Alot of information for a beginning if they are wanted to talk to the dead or wanting to learn about seals and circles of protection and binding triangles.
Next is Moses from the bible. Look up his seals. He used his seal to empower him with the power of god to part the red sea. You can find his seals in the 6th and 7th books. Take them as you will. But look with an open mind.
So what is your angle to your parents...... you want to learn more about the Bible and people in it. Remember there is some form of meditation in all relgions. Focus and a clear mind is my advise to you. Goodluck no matter what the out come is.
hey guys i tried doing that my dad said i can study magick but not learn it i tride your steps before i posted this and i can only study by my dad not by my mom she hates magick and she knopws it because both of here sisters now it and one pagan an able to do taroh and i wanted to start magick cause for fun on my first try io got a prediction wright i dont know about the other prediction and here other sister is a green witch
