The purpose of this thread is going to be strictly devoted to the siscussion of other intelligent life in the universe and their existence...it is not meant to talk about ideas of aliens as our creators, aliens controlling our minds, or ne other idea of the sort...it is simply to prove/disprove their existence...
I personally feel that alien life must surely exist, simply for the fact that the universe is still expanding and we cannot even begin to comprehend even the smallest part of our universe. It is mankinds pride, cockiness, and ignorance that keeps us from answering many questions, the same applies here...We would truly be enforcing the ideas of pride, cockiness, and ignorance if we thought that we were the only intelligent life. The way I look at it, we are but one atom in a grain of sand in a desert with myriads of other grains. Basically, in a desert the sands will shift and our grain of sand will mingle with other grains as the wind blows. The same idea can be applied with other intelligent life, but the walls we build block the wind.
So what do yall think of other intelligent life in the universe?
Yea, I've always though there must be some form of life on other planets.
Even though you get these clever people who say life can't exist without oxygen, well a fish can't live out of water same as we can't live in water (unless you have breathing appaartus), so yes I think there must be life on other planets.
strange if living things need air and water then is there a spirit air and spirit water for the spirits to use some celluar life exists ajacent to under sea smoker stacks a highly volatile and inhospitable place life by our standards do require cetain conditions but there maybe life existing by a totally different set of conditions in this vast and hugely mysterious universe
To simply answer the question of life on other planets; yes.
To be a bit more detailed on why; I have had at least one past life as what we would call an alien, my fiance has had several more, and a few more of my friends have had a couple as well.
bridgey, I'd like to correct you... Fish still do breath oxygen like all other living things. They need the water to keep them wet and it keeps them healthy. Their gills separate the oxygen from the hydrogen to be able to breath. So if you took the oxygen out of water and dropped the fish in there, it would not live long. Mainly because the water would no longer be water. It would be hydrogen
yea i had a guppy that got stuck in his toy and he drowned to death :'(
There needs to be bacteria for life to exist, am I right? And the bacteria comes from water and water comes from the inside of asteroids. This is a theory scientist came up on how life formed on Earth. So technically, billions of years ago, earth was just a lava planet around 2000 F or maybe more. And then a lot of asteroids started to hit the earth so water flew out of the asteroids and created oceans, but the lava and magma still rose up and created land and earth cooled down. So, who agrees with these scientist? I pretty much agree with them.
And I believe there is life on Europa (One of Jupiters moon) which is a water planet with ice covering it like an egg.
