Always use protective glimours and castings when doing this. It is also wise to wear a protective amulet on your body.
When you leave you body, you leave a empty shell that is voulnerable to attack and possesion. You must remember to protect the place you leave, because there are times it will not be there when you want to come back.
I am not trying to scare anyone from attepting outer body travel but just make sure you protect yourself and study up on it.
