The Elements
In this lesson, I will break down the four elements, how to find your true element and
things that you can do with you element. As many know the four basic elements are Earth,
Air, Fire and Water.
To understand what they are you must understand what magick is. In scince we can
break down magick using the Conservation Law of Energy. It states that energy cannot be
created nor destroyed but only transfered. In a nutshell, with magick all we are doing is
moving energy in a way that has not be proven by scince.
Now that we understand what magick is, you can break down the Elements. There are
different believes about who or what the elements are, but all state that they give us our
energy. The more you are around your element, the more energy and the more alive you will
feel. The elements each has a direction and its own personality. Just because your element
has a personality does not mean you will share all of its traits.
-Earth is North (material things & security)
-Air is East (intellect & communication)
-Fire is South (spirit & energy)
-Water is West (emotion & nurture)
Now many believe that you can find your element by your birthday. That is based
off of astrology. Astrology has been proven wrong. When Astrology was first made up, they
went off of the constellations. What ever constellation you are born under cannot even be
seen in the night sky. This is because your constellation is on the other side of the sun.
There are two reasons that this way cannot be done. One is they did not account for the
different sizes of the constellations making some of them slightly off. The other is that
the earth moves in space changing where the stars line up, over hundreds of year moving
them even more off. This makes Astrology off.
Now there is a way to find your element. As stated before, the Elements give us
energy, so with that we can find our Element. What you have to do is get yourself with just one Element, do this with each Element and witch ever you feel strongest around and most comfortable around is more then likly your Element.
If you focus and just open up to your Element you can understand what its trying to say. Elements dont speck but when you hear it you know what it is saying. On top of that when your around your Element your magick becomes stonger and easier to use. This is because magick is just energy, your moving the energy your gaining from Element to your magick.
