Types of Healing Methods

There are various types and ways to heal. Most of them, I may not have heard of, however there are some more well known types that I am somewhat familiar with. These types are clinical, herbal, chi, reiki, meditative, spiritual, and chakra healing.

Clinical is the most modern form of healing. This is the art of doctors and nurses, most commonly done in doctor offices and hospitals. I won't be going into much more detail on this.

Herbal is the most well known Native American form of healing, using nature's natural herbs for their healing properties. Most commonly these are boiled into teas, however they can also be turned into ointments or creams for placement on the skin. As soon as I am able to, and I must admit I have absolutely no idea when that will be, I will be posting these treatments in the spellbooks of every coven I am in.

Chi healing is to use the body's own life energy to help heal the physical, spiritual, or mental body of an individual. Although it is possible for those who have dedicated their lives to this practice to mend broken bones and cure diseases, it may also be the most draining and demanding forms of healing. Those who have not dedicated their entire lives to mastering this art usually only succeed on an mental or chakra level.

Reiki may be the most well known form of using energy to heal, however it requires love and humility. Those who truly excel in the art of reiki acknowledge that the energy is pulled from universal energy and does not really stem from them. They also heal because they love people, not for pride, not for money, and not for personal gratification of an kind. However, that does not mean the reiki healers who do charge money or don't love their patients aren't any good. It simply means they would be even better if they didn't charge money and did love.

Meditative is a personal healing. This would involve cleaning your mind, refreshing your spirit, cleaning and cleansing your chakras or opening them if they haven't been opened, etc. Although you can have someone walk you through the meditation, the meditation itself most be done by the one who wants to be healed.

Spiritual healing could be one of two things and sometimes both. Sometimes it means healing your spiritual self; refreshing beliefs, rededicating yourself to the path you have chosen, etc. Sometimes it involves your higher power granting healing of some form. So far the only reports I have heard have been Christian ones and involved teeth growing back when they had been pulled out, lost limbs being returned, blindness or deafness being removed, etc. Although Christian healings are not the only healings, they are the only ones I have heard of and so the only ones I can honestly mention in reference to a spiritual healing.

Chakra healing I listed to explain that you can't heal with your chakras, but your chakras can be healed. They need to be cleaned, cleansed, and kept open regularly. Failure to maintain your chakras could result in them closing entirely or at least becoming clogged so badly that they might as well be closed. Even if you have created a servitor to maintain your chakras for you, checking up on them yourself from time to time is a good idea.

Energy healing can be practiced just about anywhere. If you're at work and you see someone with a pain from stress, send some healing energy. You can keep doing your job and at the same time practice healing.

There are may forms of healing.

Faith Healing :

Faith healers are people who gather together and pray for the person / persons for there health to change.

Crystal healing :

Crystal healers use crystals directly on their paitients where the injured joints or organs that need healing, or just used to restore the balance in the body.

You too can use Crystal healing on your self by sitting quietly, choose the crystals that you feel drawn too then close your eyes and let the crytals do their magick they really do work.

Reiki healers :

I shall be truthful here I do not know much about Reiki Healing but I am looking into learning the art.

Chi / energy balls filled with possitive energy being sent to the persons in need of healing and up liftment etc..

Distant healing :

Distant healing means all you have to do is focus on the person that is in need of help or ill health, this is channeling your gifted energies / magicks / communicating with your Gods.

Satanist healing :

They love and care just the same and have lovely powers, (again I cannot comment too much as I'm in the midst of reading on their powers).

Spiritual & absent healing :

Spiritual and absent healing is sitting in the silence letting the divine spirit healers to channal through either through the your body or over shaddow you enabling them to heal the persons in need of healing. Again this proceedure is used in abcent healing, this method is sitting either on your own in circles or closed circles joined together in love and peace thinking and asking for our Spirit healers to come and help all those people known or not know it matter's not the healing from the Spirit World does not judge people's of the world, it heal's all including the Animals/ wild life and Mother Earth as a whole.

There many ways of healing, Tia Chi/ Black magick/Wichcrafts/ natural medicines/ Acupuncture/ Candle healing/ the list is many right to Red Indian and Autrailian Aboriginal healing.

The main requirements of healing that is needed is a good heart filled with loving care and pure belief that healing works, just a kind word that uplifts a person is healing its so simple.

I have kept my talk of healing in simple terms to avoid confussion as a lot of people think you have to be a special person or have magical powers to heal, this is not the case.

Love and peace to you all:)

This is a method of healing that cn also be used for chakra cleansing.
before an illness manifests physically it can be sensed in the aura or chakras, for example.
When I get a cold I sense it around 5 days or in my throat chakra before it manifests physically.

spiritual healing can be used for mental, emotional, spiritual as well as for physical ailments.
Here is an easy exaercise in healing-

Sit or lie down with your back as straight as possible or if healing another person, have the person you are healing sit or lie down with their back as straight as they can manage.

Ground yourself,(this is very important, it can be done by imagining you have roots coming down from your tailbone and into the earth.

Then imagine a brilliant, bright, healing white light coming down engulfing your whole being including your 'roots'.
( Don't worry if you find it difficult to visulize, imagine and tell yourself it is there, it will be, use your will.)

Imagine a figure of eight with each seperate loop of the eight, one surrouding you and one surrounding the client/healee
Imagine the white light has become even brighter at your palms( there are chakras there too).

Then put your hands over your/ or your clients/healees crown chakra,( top of head imagine this as a large violet shere of light).
Do this for a minute or more washing any any possible specs of dirt or debris.

Then do the same for the third eye chakra, ( do this through your fore head, see this as an indigo shere of light).

do the same for the throat chakra, (see this as a blue shere of light).

Do the same for the heart chakra, ( see this as a green shere of light).

Do the same for the solar plexus chakra, ( see this as a yellow shere of light).

Do the same for the sacral chakra, (see this as an orange sphere of light).

do the same for the root chakra, ( see this as a red shere of light).

Then do this where ever your senses take you or where you know there to be a problem.

Remember to take a moment on each chakra and to where ever else you need to go.
It may take some practise but then a lot of things do whether or not you have natrual healing abilities, practise and learning always make perfect.

Be sure to ground yourself and your client/ healee after the session and if you were healing someone else make sure you imagine a pair of imaginary sissors to cut the figure of eight you imagined at the start of the session is now in two seperate loops one each surrounding you and your client as to seperate you as a healer from your clients ailments.
Imagine the white brilliant healing light washing away any illness or bad feeling into the earth as you remember your grounding.
then thank the earth.
It is important to ask the permission of the person you are going to heal and have their permission before the healing begins, if healing an animal or small child, use your common sense and give them healing as not everyone can answer for themselves but do need healing, go for it and good luck

I would like to add, especially as we have a new member interested in healing, I would like to add that this can be done long distance too, as in if theres someone miles away from you, you can do the same as I've advised above but you can relax and visualise doing the healing on the person from far away, even in another country, or you can even do it via mental projection or astral projection. I would advise to always do grounding and some chakra stimulation before hand.
The healing ki/chi of the universe is way beyond time and distance so it can be done, and I do it quite often sometimes.

You can also heal animals, plants and even situations.

Reiki Healing :

Reiki as the name its known, was discovered by Dr Usui of Japan.
He then taught and intitiated others who then taught it to more worldwide.
When one is initiated as a reiki practioner, they have the reiki symbols put into their crown and hand chakras by a reiki master.
In japan universal life force is called Ki, this is why the word rei-ki is used.
Every living thing contians and radites ki or chi, its the magnetic energy field of the aura.

This force from the universe is used for healing. When a reiki healer does healing on a client, the healing doesn't come from the reiki healer, the healer is merely a channel of the healing energy.
The healer lays their hands on or over the seven main chakras and any other area they feel drawn to or know that is in need of healing. The energy then flows to where ever it is needed in the body, mind or soul, as in reiki like most spiritual/psychic healing, the healing benefits not just the physical body but, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, addictions, etc.
A reiki attunement/initiation is also great for kundalini.

Although reiki as its known today as was discovered by Dr Usui, it is said that it was originally brought to Earth by the goddess Shiva.( a god/dess of many hands).
Reiki can be done by anyone once they have been attuned, by having the symbols put directly into their crown and palm chakras, so I'm wary of those people who claim to attune people online.

Reiki is a wonderful healing system that doesn't deplete the healers own energy, as it is from the universe and not the healer. You can do distance healing through reiki, you can do reiki on situations, people, plants and animals.

Like any form of healing,(spiritual or physical), dont expect instant results, some clients often may need a course of healing, like people take courses of antibiotics for example.
Saying that, there have been times when miracle type situations happen, I have been lucky enough to aid in that, (via help from a spirit helper).

Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is a Japanese name consisting of 2 words Rei and Ki meaning spiritually guided life energy (commonly known as Universal Life Energy), an energy which animates us all and is found all around us.
Reiki is a form of spiritual healing using ''universal life energy'' channelled through the practitioner to the recipient.
Reiki helps to harmonize body, mind and spirit for yourself or anyone you want to help.

Reiki treatment
You relax, fully clothed, on a couch or seated while the healer holds his hands on or above you. A treatment can last an hour or longer depending on the treatment required. In the western world many practitioners use the standard hand positions and commonly a full treatment is given covering all the important organs of the body.
There is no pressure on the body making it ideal for treating all ages and conditions, sometimes hands are even held away from the body. The energy flows wherever it is required (spiritually guided) and can normally be felt as a warm sensation or tingling in the body. Receiving Reiki is a very relaxing and soothing experience!

Reiki is an effective healing method
Reiki can be used for many ailments like reducing stress, relieving pain, headaches, stomach upsets, back problems, asthma - respiratory problems, PMT, menstrual problems, sinus, anxiety and many more. You can find treatment suggestions for specific problems under the button ''How to use Reiki''. (Please observe that Reiki should never be used instead of medical treatment, it should be used as a compliment and a way to become and remain healthy.)

There is no belief system attached to Reiki so anyone can receive a Reiki treatment or a Reiki attunement. As in any healing the first step towards a healthier life is a desire to be healed.

Reiki - a powerful and gentle healer

* Promotes natural self-healing
* Balances the energies in the body
* Balances the organs and glands
* Strengthens the immune system
* Treats symptoms and causes of illness
* Relieves pain
* Clears toxins
* Adapts to the natural needs of the receiver
* Enhances personal awareness
* Relaxes and reduces stress
* Promotes creativity
* Releases blocked and suppressed feelings
* Aids meditation and positive thinking
* Heals holistically

Reiki is easy to learn
Anyone can ''learn'' Reiki. The word learn is not quite right as most of us cannot just read about Reiki and then do it. The ability to use Reiki is normally given via an attunement or initiation.
