For one tele-kinesis, simply means "moving at a distance", or being distanced from what you move. So technically, it's accurate. "Tele" has nothing to do with "mind". That is "pathos" in telepathy, which means "creating a sensation at a distance" (not really having to do with thought either as far as the word goes).
It would involve levels of energy that are simply not available to anyone but a high adept, and to push what amounts to an advanced development can create stresses (in the astral body or nervous system or both) that might not be all that healthy. I would say focus on developing a bunch of other things first and then going for the drama of moving things without touching or blowing on them. It would actually be easier that way. After all, every ability develops the energy bodies (by whatever names) and transforms the individual so as to be able to accomplish more than the abilities they learned or at least make them easier to learn.
I willl be happy to help you message me and I will give you lessons but Telekinsis is a very hard to get but with patience and time you will be able to do so
If you want telekinesis just DON'T concentrate on the object but let your mind wander around BUT you must keep the intention. That's the tricky part about it.
I consider it an advanced possibility. For me there are other factors that would need to be cultivated first, so it is neither here nor there and moving paperclips around doesn't hold much fascination for me. Many people consider that every psychic ability aside from perception and communication effects (like telepathy and remote viewing) is a form of kinesis, although maybe not mechanical.
For example influencing events can amount to influencing every particle that makes up an event to conform to a certain pattern. That doesn't require a lot of force. Just a persistent pattern that nudges reality your way. Weather manipulation and healing can also be considered kinesis. Telekinesis, however, deals with dense energies and the body is not equipped to easily generate them except (according to some) on a very small scale unless you are prone to insane emotional outbursts focused in a certain manner. Yet these too are short bursts usually, and amount to pictures falling off of the wall and maybe plates breaking. In mystical traditions, however, telekinesis is recognized through levitation, but isn't given much value, and the levitation may refer to the astral body.
