It depends on the sickness/disease, of course. Some are curable easily, some take a little more time, and some are not curable at all or at least by any means that we know of at the moment.
Im not religious but in Christianity I undersand that there God can heal a person and was wondering if anyone has heard of that before or with any othe diety.
Sickness and disease come from many things: viruses, infection, the body not able to fend things off (ie: too high of a white blood cell count, which means low immune system), bug bites, bugs burrowing in your skin (ew! but it happens), hereditary, etc. etc. etc.
Look into medical science about this...I'm sure you will find many answers.
All sickness and disease is blocked energy, believe it or not it really is , people who practice chakra workings or reiki etc SHOULD understand this, For eg if a person has heart issues, a opening and rebalancing of the heart chakra cures the problem, pill only get you more sick and they rarely work compared to herbs which has certain affects with the chakras to assist in curing your illness
serpentfire: I disagree. I have had Reiki done many, many, many times. The only blockage I have is my orange chakra (navel). This is from many people, in many different Reiki traditions.
I have multiple *inherited* diseases. My energy is definitely not blocked. It is genes, and immunodeficiency.
"pill only get you more sick and they rarely work compared to herbs which has certain affects with the chakras to assist in curing your illness"
I have to disagree with that statement, I would always recommend the use of herbs and healing as an additional remedy, not a replacement. For example if you were diabetic would you stop taking insulin and replace it solely with a herbal alternative? Of course not.
As for the origin of disease, the question in itself is incredibly vague as there are many different types of disease, viral, bacterial and genetic to name a few, genetic is relatively easy to trace as it is caused by mutations in the base sequence of DNA causing a protein or enzyme to be dysfunctional which leads to improper formation of breakdown of larger molecules, the other types are mutations of life and unfortunately nobody can answer where life first came from.
In terms of curing a disease then yes it is fully possible via a number of different methods, I think most if not all religions have a deity capable of miraculous healing however personally I am not up to scratch on them all
i won't say stop taking insulin but lets be real , did you know pills like azt(i think thts the name) on the pills for hiv patients only kills them faster? they have a chance taking something else
