this forum goes to the religious side..which i hope its ok :)
its just the message my friend told me tht kept me thninking. If jesus was up there loving us...then why do only some who believe him and love will live...only the christins? i asked her: if jesus loves us so much...why cant he forgive us...and let us ll go to heaven, instead of 95% of humans go to hell...cause then the deavil is getting wht he wants..instead of jesus trying to safe us. she said: he gave us a choices to follow him and believe him, and only the ones who love him and obey his rules will go to heaven. WEll back this trailer up, standing from my view if jesus was this nice old man who loved all his creations..then wouldnt he save all and not just the followers? cause one thing i know is that this is why we have ppl in this worl that help spirites or "bad" stuff cross to the other side. So if jesus loves us so frikin much..uhh why does he wants to see us suffer? i feel like..its really sometimes the point of view in which shoes ur stepping in even thought jesus dosnt wear shoes..idont think lol..but at one point i thought...hey...maybe satan is not such a bad guy..well at least now compared to jesus's action..i mean forgiveness is a big part to life..and if god cant forgive and love u still then heaven and hell well..i dont find the creator any diffrent?

first jesus is not god, in the literal sense anyways. He is the "son" of god. and secondly.......you got some seriously twisted friends, it's obvious they don't respect your beliefs, i advise you to keep the convo away from religion.
Jesus wore sandals by the way, and according to the bible, Jesus died for ALL sins, PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE. If you look at it like that... it doesn't matter what you do so long as you "repent for your sins" as some christians put it.

that`s the flaw of christianity.Too much close minded people.
and Jesus christ was sent by the LIVING god
TO guide us and help us in the darkest times
i admit that jesus christ had given me so much
protection when i was at the darkest days of my life
and when i haven't got my power to cast spells,,
he also take care of us when we are still not aware
One person told me a way to look at this which makes it pretty clear, in my opinion.
Imagine the world at it's end. Every single living human has caught a seemingly incurable disease. It is supposed to be passed on genetically as well as just about any other way it can be, so it is impossible to avoid by the time people are aware of it.
Then some doctors make a discovery. Your child, be it your only child, youngest, oldest, whatever, is immune. The doctors request to use your child to save the world, but to make enough of the cure in time your child would have to sacrifice his/her life. Since this is a hypothetical event, we have the hypothetical law that you have no say in the matter. Your child is left with the choice and he/she decides to do it.
Your child is drained dry of every drop of blood he/she had. The majority of the human race is saved and now immune to any similar diseases of that type. Ten years later, practically nobody remembers his/her name. How does that make you feel?
The metaphor is as it is with Jesus in the Christian religion. He was the son of God and died for our sins(the incurable disease) on a cross. This was our cure. Now, the equivalent to taking the cure is to believe in Jesus and love him as he loved us. Jesus does not have a say in this as much as God does. You're not dealing with the son when you die, you're dealing with the father.
I hope I explained this well enough. If not, I could try to explain better any misunderstandings.
Before I post this I must also add, 95% would not be going to hell by Christian beliefs. Right now the Christian religion is the world's largest religion. It is the leading religion in Europe and the Americas, being spread through Africa and Asia, and it may be the leading religion in Australia, but I would have to check into that. I would estimate at least 50% would be Christians. If not, no less than 45% are. However, I have no statistics to show for exactly what percentage of the entire human population are saved.
Sorry to be reviving this thread and double posting, but I thought of something else that may be important to add.
We already know that reincarnation exists, many of us either having found our own past lives or otherwise had the belief proven. The reason for this being mentioned on this topic, somewhere in the bible a place was mentioned that exists between Heaven and Hell, and it's not Earth. It is a place where people have a "second chance" to be saved. So, to simply this explanation, I'll just post what I believe the chain of events is in numerical order.
1) You are born and live a life, choosing to accept or defy Christianity during it.
2) You die and go to this place of a second chance(I think it's called purgatory, but I'm not sure about that) where you decide again whether you accept or defy Christianity.
Note: by the time you reach the second step you have remembered past life experiences and can make a more educated/experienced answer.
3) Your choice- go to Heaven or reincarnate again.
I also believe Heaven doesn't have to be permanent. Personally, no matter how happy and perfect the place is, I can't see myself being happy knowing I can't go back out. So, I believe if you want to leave Heaven and go through another life, it is an option. Thus, in my viewpoint, Heaven is a vacation place for some and a retirement home for others.
With this belief, Hell can seem a little out of place. Why got to Hell when you can reincarnate again? There are a couple possible answers. One being that Hell is a place of punishment for sins, but it is not eternal. You do the time for the crime then you're free, do the crime again and more time for you. During this time your spirit/soul would undergo various amounts of pain before being released.
Now, why wouldn't people recall this during past life research? Perhaps because the pain is on a scale that would drive them insane or otherwise hurt them mentally/emotionally, perhaps because the spirit has intentionally suppressed it simply because the spirit doesn't want it brought to the body's attention during a life that could be more relaxing without that knowledge. Or, maybe it's because the human mind was not meant to contain information from either Heaven or Hell. However, I think the first is more likely as people have died and come back with reports about both Heaven and Hell, some begging the doctor to not let it happen again(Hell's visitors) while others woke up furious for having been brought back at all(Heaven's visitors).
Just my thoughts, some of which I thought might be important to people viewing this thread.
Wow! First of all, Jesus doesn't want any one to suffer! Where did you get that from?
Why would he obey his father's command to die for all humanity if he didn't love us?
I kind of understand what you are talking about though because I had a lot of simmilar questions growing up, specially when my father died to cacer, but as I grew up I understood that death is a part of life! And it's ok to loose your loved ones!
The questions I always had for the priest & elders from the religion I grew up in were:
"Why should we have to pay for Adam & Eve's sin?"
"Why is Eve always the one to blame for eating from the forviden tree of life if she was tricked as well into eating the aple?"
"If Adam & Eve were the ones who sinned & got thrown from paradise, why do we have to suffer the consequences as well?"
"Why can't God just punish the ones that sined & give every one else the chance to decide if they want to go on the right path or not?"
The answer to most of these questions always were:
We enherit the sin!
Well, I don't agree w/ that!
But you know what I keep telling myself!
There is a Higher Being, us humans cannot understand the grand design of life or the motive. All we can do is to live in harmony w/ all the wonderfull things that have been given to us!
Look dipper into your heart & you will find that love & forgiveness brings you peace. (w/ a higher being).
