My Cat Might Be Magic!

I think my cat might be magic! I brought him outside a few minutes ago and I trying to cast a spell. The spell is supposed to stop the wind. So while I was practicing it seemed harder around him. But when I finally got it to work he meowed and there was a giant gust of wind! Then for about a minute or two he kept meowing and every-time there was another huge gust of wind. So after a few minutes the wind came back to normal. Then he laid his paw on my spell book and meowed. I casted the spell again and he stated to meow and cause guests of wind again. I think he is trying to cast a spell with me. He might be magic. Or he could know how to bend air with his voice. Can cats be magic? Is my cat magic? Can he bend air?

Your cat more than likely is your familar

I'm with Blackrobes on this one. My rat used to do something similar and he was my familiar before he died. I'm thinking as blackrobes stated, it sounds like your cat is your familiar and is trying to teach you as well as help you during your casting

I wish me pets could do stuff like that... Mostly they just bite people and occasionally dig up the garden.

that sounds like a familiar. tho there are times when i wonder if he opened the door by himself.

A familiar is a type of animal assistant that helps a witch, often by guiding or strengtening spells. They can also help identify bad herbs and oils, as animals often have stronger senses of smell than humans, guide divination tools, and help out in a great many other ways.

I would have to agree with everyone else. I have a little cat of my own that reacts the same way when I am practicing magic. It seems when she is near my magic is....stronger I suppose I would say. She and I are also quite close and have a very strong bond, both in magic and friendship.

I agree with the familiar idea but I've also heard that cats are very intune to the paranormal as it is. So dont get your hopes too high that your cat is helping you with magic as much as the cat might just be randomly doing things.
