everytime i try to find my light
the darkness always has to fight
everytime everything seems clear
i notice i'm still standing here

i'm waiting for something to come along
but then again i could always be wrong
a soothing silence,
in the background of the noise

i'm looking at myself
why is it that my image is not so blurry to everyone else
am i standing too close
or is the mirror broken

one day i'll figure this all out
one day i'll live without so many doubts
i'll trust myself for today
and wait for tomorrow
