Good and bad are words of opinion. It's always going to depend on who you ask. There is nothing wrong with Freemasonry imho.

There is nothing wrong at all with freemasonary, like what has been said before it depends on your opinions.

And like the great LaVey said -

Good is what you like, evil is what you dont like and thats all.

Freemasonry is not bad. It is simply a social, educational, and charitable organization for men. Becoming a mason does not require that one belong to a specific religion, in fact arguments over religious differences are specifically forbidden. All it requires is that one have a belief in some Higher Power. Some Christian groups have given Masonry a bad rep because they don't like the fact that it is not specifically Christian. Heck, most of the Founding Fathers including George Washington were Freemasons.

You can find a ton of information on Freemasonry at http://web.mit.edu/dryfoo/masonry/

The reasoning behind Free Masons being considered evil is:
As stated earlier not specifically christian.
Preforms Templar Rituals (which is a form of witch-craft)

!Not everyone likes witch-craft don't nag about it accept it and if you must nag. Nag in a differant topic.!

They also accept women, not just men...

Also, they are not evil/bad. They are moral people, and some religions just don't want their members to join because of simple conflicting principles, not because they are bad. The only thing that spoiled their reputation was their secrecy and Christianity.
