Inception

So i just saw this movie and i think it is a fiction of astral projection? It just seemed like they took the astral projection and made it fictional? What do you guys think?

I have never seen the movie myself, but I can say wholeheartedly that Astral Projection itself is real.

We have a section here on SoM where we review movies and explain what Magick in the movie is real and what is not, though it's still in the works.

also, there is a big difference between that movie and astral projection. one is found on the astral plane where spirits and ethereal entities exist while in that movie the world is soley based on the mind and what that person percieves in their mind. so basically, no, that movie is not a fiction form of astral projection but another study all together on its own.

It's more like lucid dreaming, except that you invite other people into your dream.

Yeah, it was lucid dreaming. I think it was a lovely movie, and who knows, there could be a business like that at some time in the future. It'd be nice to see dreams given a more important role in waking life :)
