Any idea?

When is the best time or way to invite your dragon companion. Or if you have never met him/her how might you invite him/her if you have never cast a spell or ritual. Is there a specail spell or ritual? And how do you not insult them, because that is the last thing I would want, andwith my mouth and my luck that's what would happen O.o
