i was wondering if there was such a thing as blood or bone magic?

Did heard of Tibetan ritual requiring the usage of raven flesh for Tara ritual. However I am not sure about its authenticity.

Yes, both blood and bone are used in magic. How they are used depends on the cultural system of magic. They both provide a strong energetic component to various workings.

There is an American system of folk magic called hoodoo where both substances are readily employed. Some examples in hoodoo: Menstrual blood is used in controlling love spells. Human finger bones are used in spirit and necromancic works. A specific bone from a racoon called a coon dong is also used as a love charm. Blood and Bones are used in magic. Many people refrain from it though do to myths, or beliefs; others do not. I know natives, and for example local witches in my country that use (voodoo, and hoodoo) (as well as some Santeria) blood and bones. I have some Satanist friends that incorporate blood into their rituals. As well as many wiccans do to.
It can be used as offerings, or can also be used to boost certain spells. Bones can also be used for divination.
