i just want to ask 2 things to anyone who is a bit experienced here-

does magic really work
and if it does
how do i get started

Magic is real.

you should start by practicing the basics.

Hello and welcome to the site. Magic is very real in itself, but i order for you to work in it, and grow you have to believe it does. Basics like the other people have commented should be your first step. Nothing comes easily, so this will require alot of studying, and effort. Learn concepts, properties, meditation, energy manipulation and visualization (these of course are pointers for a start).

Welcome, If you are really serious about learning, a great book to read is Wicca, A Year And A Day, by Timothy Roderick. I hope this helps. Message me anytime if you like.
