OK. So I've been on Spells for over a year now and it's been an awesome help so thank you everyone! But I need some more help. Lately Werewolves have been in my dreams and while I'm not very interested in what the dreams mean, finding more about them would be great! I'm pretty familiar with all the cliche's but I want some actualy facts.
If you can help that'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
The mental transformation happens when a wolf's spirit posses a human, he acts like a wolf when it happens, some of his human powers increase and his smelling and hearing senses increase too. Other mental transformation is when someone loves wolves, or want to be one so he can feel their spirits which make him act like them.
The werewolf may symbolize the ability to 'shapeshift'. No, I don't mean physically. If you can research shapeshifting, preferrably taught by shamanism, you might find it rather helpful.
well it all depends were you the actual werewolf running in the wild or were they around you because if they were around you there may be a lycan coven with a member as a secret admirer so which was it .
I'll copy and paste this information from another website. It's one I created.
"The word 'Lycan' is short for Lycanthrope/Lycanthropy. Lycanthropy is the study or condition of shape-shifting into a wolf. A Lycanthrope, or a person with Lycanthropy, is a person who can shape shift into the full form of a Wolf while on the Astral Plane as well as become more Wolf-like on the Material Plane. Lycans may inherit their animal kinship from relatives and may feel the need to feed on raw/rare meat. A Lycan can be born with Vampirism and, in that case, is called a Werepry.
Lycans tend to have certain physical traits such as sharper teeth then is normal for a non-Lycan, faster growing or thicker hair, and faster growing or stronger nails. Fast healing is said to be a Lycan trait as well. Senses being slightly increased, such as smell and hearing, are also traits of Lycanism. A Lycan's sense of smell also allows them to sense whether or not a fellow Lycan is near.
Personality traits would include a wolf-like perspective on things, the longing for a social group similar to a pack, loyalty to friends, a dominant lycan would have the urge to lead whereas a submissive lycan would follow, and an unforgiving dislike for traitors.
Certain fantasy traits, traits that aren't among real Lycans nor related to Lycanthropy, include being allergic to silver, fearing fire, being allergic to certain plants, and having to transform physically into a wolf or having to howl at a full moon. These traits come from Hollywood and various authors.
There are several breeds of Lycan and their breed is the breed of wolf their spirit associates with. A Lycan who is a Gray Wolf on the Astral would be a Gray Lycan, but people don't usually point out the breed of Lycan as often as they do the breed of wolf. Most commonly for Lycans there are the Gray Lycan, the Arctic Lycan, and the European Lycan.
Just because a Lycan happens to be born in Europe doesn't make him a European Lycan, he would be a European Lycan because his spirit is a European Wolf. The Arctic Lycan would be a White Wolf. The specifics on a Lycan's Personality Traits that come from them being a Lycan would depend on the breed of Lycan they are.
Arctic Lycan may be a bit more on the quiet side and frown more upon weak-links, European Lycans may be more aggressive and more short tempered, and Gray Lycans are probably the friendliest of the bunch. In spite of being, or perhaps because of being, the friendliest of the bunch, the Gray Lycans can also be the most deadly. Being Friendlier, they travel in larger Packs and as all Packs attack as one angering a single member means angering a larger group of fearsome fighters."
That's all the information I stashed on a website I made. I'm not providing the link because it's a private site for close friends and family of mine.
Well Loray, I don't know alot about magic, but I can make sense of your dream which may help. If you could give me a more detailed version I could probably make sense of it. Don't be afraid to make it long, the more deatil the better. This may help you more than you think. :) I hope this helps, bye! ~KT
