Magic encourages creativity and inventiness. Practioners have found thousands of ways to use Mother Earths Powers. The most Crucial requirements are desire, will, curiousity, awareness, knowledge, and education. although rare and precious materials, gemstones, and fragrant tree resign are packed with powers, there are tremendous magic in simple things..Blades of Grass,a handful of dirt, moonbeams and even Ocean Water. Magic is a source of power and the Power can be used benevolently or selfishly with varying degrees of mal intent. As it is the abstract practice of magic that is either good or bad. but it basically just what the practioner chooses to do with it. The responsibility of ones actions and consequences of how they choose to use their teachings so it solely relies on the Individual Practioner's Shoulders. Magic is a concern with the immediate needs and desires of the practioner. It is not for the passive nor just as a show and you must be willing to study,do some indepth research, and work for it. It isn't all as easy as most people think but it is something that most of us have worked for years to learn and study. I was lucky and my knowledge was passed down from my family but I still Research and learn something new everyday as I read and study..
Thank you for reading this and I hope it helps you to better understand more about Magic.

I have noticed that when most people start on this path. They tend to rush through things, they aresome that maybe be able to quickly pick up things but then there are some who do not. Well all have to be patient here :).
My favourite quote is:
''The spiritual journey is an endless road, which we patiently travel with neither hope nor haste in reaching it's end.''

Learning the true path to follow of magic is not always as easy as watching tv and learning a spell or waving your hands..Yes there are some that do have a gift for learning and picking it up very quickly but the most important part of learning it...Well.. Here are some questions to ask yourself to see how truly dedicated you really are to this topic..
1. How much of an interest do you have in learning the truth?
2. How much time are you willing to dedicate to reading and researching to learn?
3. Are you willing to make magic apart of your everyday life?
4. How much time are you willing to work and practice on the things you learn?
5. Where do you see yourself in 10 years in the knowledge of Magic? (A.)Casual User (B.) Part time User? (C.) Dedicated life user?
Magic is not something you can learn from watching tv or just simply reading a single book but it takes dedication and pure interest..It doesn't matter how long you been doing magic or how much you know..There is noone that truly learns and knows everything.. you still learn something new every time you research or read a book..
Thank you drakken for this wonderful post. Sorry I haven't been very active on the site, I'm kinda stressed with school, but hopefully and deep meditation and a bubble baths hould help. Anyway, I personally was born with a knake for problem solving, science, and logic. You have helped me so much since I joined this coven, even though I prefer to learn things for myself, it is always a joy to read your lessons and chat with you. I hope our little family will grow big and strong one day, but for now, I am very happy to have what I have.
