About the Otherworld

Otherworld has been called by many different names in differnt religions. The Greeks called it Hades, Christians call it heaven, and more wiccans call it summerland.

Otherworld is a place and home of the Lord and Lady. It is where souls go to choose rebirth or to become a guardian spirit to love ones still on Earth.

The Otherworld is a covered by a vail which is thinnest on the Full Moon Esbat and on the Sabbat of Samhain.

It is also said that during Samhain, spirits of the otherworld roam the world looking for final peace.

On Festivals that honour the dead,the veil is also known to be the thinnest at that times.

Would that be like the Day of the Dead which is celebrate Mexico

I believe so, there are also other designated dates in ceratin cultures In which they also state the veil thinnest. Like the Hungry Ghost Festival and so on.

I'd also like to add that dawn and dusk are good times of the day where the spirit world is more 'open'.
