I couldn't help but notice the amount of people claiming to be a Christian Wiccan. I do not mean to offend but to enlighten. It is not possible to be Christian and Wiccan. It is possible to be a Christian witch. The reason being a Christian beleives in only ONE god while a Wiccan believes in multiple gods/goddesses. There is no exeption. If you believe in the christian god as well as other pagan gods/goddesses then you are neither Wiccan or Christian. If you believe in only the Christian god and practice witchcraft you are a Christian Witch. It is not possible to merge two mono and polytheist religions into one.
please research what a christian is before posting a post about something you dont know. to be a christian literally means to accept Jesus Christ as your savior and lord. that is it. and back when christianity just started their was both a god and goddess, which can be seen by a lot of different paintings, and artworks you just need to know where. so please dont post something that you are not familar with, and have little to no knowledge able.
I totally agree with Skiing33. To be a Christian literally means to accept Jesus Christ as your savior and lord. So you can be a Christian and Wiccan at the same time :) Besides, if a person would be a very liberal catholic (no offense to whomever reads this and is catholic) you can have the virgin Mary as the goddess and the trinity as the god. So, like I say again, there CAN be Christian Wiccans (no offense with the "CAN" just want to make a point).
Being a Christian also means you accept the Bible and the churches teachings. Perhaps you have missed what the church has to say about witch craft. You can of course try to make a relativistic argument and say that one need not follow the bible to follow Jesus, though that's where you will read about Jesus and his teachings. Then you could say that one need not follow all the bibles teachings, however if you do that, then the book itself becomes next to meaningless as a religious book. As far as history goes it's a poor history book, with much of what occurred in it being things that can't be proven.
You can't pick and choose the parts of the bible you will follow, and in turn you can't cal yourself a Christian when what a Christian is is contrary and against witchcraft. Utter nonsense, which could only be dreamed up by someone who embraces a relative view of most everything. Nonsense.
Someone's beliefs and views of life is considered nonsense? That is complete bile.
It doesn't matter if the religion is contradictory, if they believe in such then they may call it what they wish.
To be honest, it really just seem as though your acting ignorant. Its not 'making st up' its what they believe, if they want jesus with their gods then why say that its poop?
