incident

well here is what happened, in my car the radio was a piece of crap and i would sometimes only be able to listen to static, but when i moved my hand near the radio i could finally hear the radio staion with no static, and when i moved my hand away the static rapeared. now here is the last part if i held my hand there long enough the static would stay away for longer after i moved my hand away. whats happening. many thanks

That use to happen with my radio in my room with me, I don't think it means anything tho :)

Radios work off the electromagnetic spectrum and if your radio doesn't have a good antenna for receiving then you will just get static(white noise) of your radio, the human body emits a certain amount of electromagnetic radiation so in essence your hand became the receiver for the signal, It happens all the time with my portable TV when the weathers bad.

You'll just have to buy a better radio with a good antenna for receiving signals if you want to listen to a radio station.
