All fictional characters are servitor-like. They have been made by people investing energy into the idea of the characters existing. This is why the energies of Lovecraft's necronomicon can be summoned. But, not just because it has become a part of pop culture. It is because every single possibility imagined and not imagined has an equal chance of happening. It's just that there are already pre-existing energy sources feeding the existence of certain things to not only maintain things already existing, but making certain things easier to happen than others.

Yes, you can summon any made up character (even one you make up yourself) just as easily as any spirit. In fact, they are usually easier to summon.

They do exist. Effort has been put forth from the minds of viewers. Both thought and emotion. Thought and emotion are the 2 parts of material manifestation. Besides, even discounting that, every thing immaginable and unimaginable has an equal chance of manifesting somewhere in reality. Some things are more likely only because of energy sources causing certain things to happen and setting off a domino effect. But, that doesn't mean the domino effect can't be altered.

Every single thing and thought that can be imagined, becomes "real" in its own way. So yes, in a way you can "summon" a fictional character.
