I'm tying to make

A place to hold all of the spells I've collected (don't worry, I'm putting them in my own words). Should it be a binder or a notebook? And should I bring it with me everywhere or keep it in one place that's away from people?

You can do a binder or notebook. Me, personally, would use a flashdrive. It's saves trees :D In my opinion, your book should be private. SARS only with the people you trust. Don't carry the book with you, you might attract tons of attention. But if you had a flash drive, it van go in your pocke or purse (one of the pros of having a flash drive! There small ;) ) this is my personal opinion, feel free to differ

It's your book, so it's entirely up to you. There are no rules for such things. As with much of magick, do what feels right to you :)

A notebook is a good idea. :D The proper name for a 'spell book' is a Grimore.

I keep mine in a three ringed binder (BoS), sorry for hurting the trees but i just love pencil to paper. i also have three ...ohh thats too many trees , how about i plant some tress or donate money to people who plant trees, think it will balance the karma :)

It probably won't hurt anything. The trees will forgive us because we are forced to use them as resources most of the time. Karma will probably go affect the person that's causing you to use them or the makers of the pencil and paper. But if you wish to do that, you could get more blessings.
