I have a wonderful idea!!

I read some articles regarding people believing in fantasies, fluffies, etc. and i think this is the answer to their problems...
Why can't this site make people have a survey which asks them questions like "do you believe in mermaids,vampires,werewolves,etc.

I see what you mean, but I admit that when I was first starting out I beloved in all those. To be honest if that was taken to effect this site would not gain any members at all? Or very few anyway.

I agree with SonofShadows, it's a good idea but with down sides. Kind if like Magick. Good with bad.

I think you shouldn't just ask yes or no. I would suggest this.

Do you believe in _________?
A)yes, they are all around us
B)only on the astral plane
C)yes, but in a unique way (could use better wording)
D)they used to, but not anymore
E)of course not they're just a fairy tale
F)undecided

Just my two cents, but I don't like the idea, not to hate on you or anything.
It's too open ended, and besides, I truly believe most fluffies know that what they are doing isn't possible and is fantastical. Now, do a general knowledge test AKA Just the concepts not exactly the basics, and maybe.

Still, this is a place for anyone to learn, and if a fluffy wants to serious up, then they shouldn't be barred from it.

For my part, I don't think a survey will matter one way or another. People will always believe what they want to believe, and if you disagree with them they will simply think you're wrong.

Voting on it doesn't change anything.

I really don't think this the place to put something like that. The majority of the people here are wiccans, pagans, etc. and most don't think they exist, at least not in this world. But that idea could fit better in a sci-fi, fantasy, etc. site. This site was originally filled with real spells and no role-playing madness. I also do think this site should be renewed or make a new version so we can leave this one to the people who messed it up with role play and false spells, etc. and the people who want to be serious can move on to the newer version. I don't know about blacklisting the ones who continue role playing from entering a new one though. But there would be probably some way the moderators could prevent that.

An entrance exam to a website that is maintained by membership? Can you not see the faulty reasoning there? :D
