Was this a dream or OBE?

When I was seven,I had a dream that I was in a school library.I got hungry and tried to wake up to get a snack.I realized that instead of seeing my bedroom and a bowl of gummies,I still saw my dream.I was able to control my dream self.Was this a dream,a OBE,or something else?And I'm also planning to do it tonight to test it.

I appreciate all answers

This is called lucid dreaming, which is the awareness that you are dreaming.

@NimirRaj:

Actually, LD isnt rare at all :) It happens often, but people usually forget 9/10. I lucid dream almost every time I have a dream!
