Reincarnation was an invention of people who don't want to die

you could try meditating and doing some past life regression, or perhaps there's something about the element you are drawn to.

I'm big on this belief.
I've found out my own past lives by meditation and through dreams. sometimes one doesn't remember their past life. And if not thats okay.

Yeah, I'm working on regressing myself right now. It's going pretty well. I'm using the method I've read about where you meditate and you think backwards through your life, all the way back to when you were born. But you go further still. You go back to before you were born and then you can see who you were. And when I'm going through a life I don't have memories of, I try using the method I saw in that old Anthony Hopkins movie, Audry Rose, and tell myself to see the person in question at their birthday parties. Like, see so-and-so at their 30th birthday party. I modify this sometimes a little, but it works. I've gone back two lives this way, so far.

I have always believed that if you do not achieve a god like state in your life you are placed into another mortal body to try again. I also believe that if this state of godhood is achieved in life that you are more spiritually powerful in your spirit form.

should have also said above, while it is cool to learn about your past lives, this life is the life that matters, so don't let the pursuit consume you.

But sometimes it is important to discover your past lives in order to fulfill what you need to do in this life.
