I'm not quite sure if this would be considered astral projection or not, but it felt all too real. I had a dream last night that my father and I had went to the park near my home. There's an area marked off for the boy scouts, and a stream runs around it. It's actually an island. Anyway, there's a deep part by the only bridge that connects the island to the rest of the park. It's where people usually swim. In my dream, my dad and myself were going to swim there, but there were these slug things. They were alien, to say the least. They were brown, and had no eyes, but a lot of teeth. And attitudes. Was it astral projection, or just lucid dreaming?
Then it is very possible that this was an astral projection. To test it more, you could try to meditate and force an astral projection to get a feel of how it really is, and then compare it with the feeling of the experience you had.
It could have been astral projection. However sometimes people can pull others into a dream. It sounds weird but is not unheard of. When I was a kid, an older friend of my mom taught me how to do so on purpose. The idea was just to make me less afraid of having nightmares, but it does work. She later explained it as something similar to dream walking. Perhaps one of you dragged the other into the dream without knowing.
If you have not done so already, I would suggest starting a dream journal. It is good to keep record of anything you notice from your dreams. Then if you have questions later you can zip back to that page to read. Love, light and blessings EarthGoddess :)
Yep it is possible to pull people into your dream. But wouldnt that would hold true if the person you've pulled has had the same or somewhat similar dream? My sister and I, have been doing this to each other, subconciously, since we were kids.
Angel you're gonna have to show me how you do this on purpose.
EarthGoddess, here are my two bits. Your dream is extremely symbol heavy. My guess is that your dream has more to do with certain emotions, rather than being an astral projection. Theres a certain step you want to take in your life but youre stopping yourself. This step has promising opportunities, like giving you that much-needed break, freedom and solitude you desire. But at a certain level youre holding yourself back from diving in because youre scared of losing a certain sense of security that you have right now. You feel that you will alienate your current life if you take this step. And it is this very fear thats slowing your life down.
