any advice? =/

Ok, I've been trying spells and stuff since last August.. which I love.. lol.. the only problem is that my parents are christians and have no idea... it's starting to get rather hard hiding it from them.. and if I told them I am scared they would kill me.. litterally.. any advice on ways to hide all this?? I'm taking a chance of being caught by just being on here.... =/

Same here. I do everything at night. If you have to do it during the day here are some tips:

-Put something noisy and a litle heavy on the door. It will signal you when someones trying to get in

-write spells down and practice them away from home

-find a good secret hiding spot away from home. put supplies in a place where no one will find them there

-Always be paraniod, it will keep you alert


- have a system ready so you can get rid of evidence fast: have blankets around to hide things,containers,ect.


-whispering is key!

I would suggest using an online blog to record down any notes or written spells. Don't let the site keep you logged in and don't let your browser remember your passwords.

As for practicing, friend's homes? On walks? When people are sleeping?

For researching--the library.

I feel really sorry for you. Not being able to tell your parents. My mother has always been there for me and she was the first person I told when I became interested in witchcraft. Luckily for me, I had a mother who understood my interest in magic. She'd also dabbled in it herself. Perhaps you should just try telling your parents about your interest in magic. It could help if you told your parents that the original Hebrew Bible stated that "thou shall not suffer a poisoner to live" and actually never said anything about putting witches to death.

Hmm try doing your spells when they're not home. You can always go to a friends house or do your spells at night.

I can understand where you are coming from. I grew up in a Mormon family and hid my practices for many years. Honestly it was something that we just didnt seem to bring up. When they wanted, I would go to the church with them but its not like I really participated. Its hard to know when the time is right to tell them if ever. I agree, it is a good idea to do things while they are not home. Also going out on walks and into nature to do your work also helps. Keep your head up hun and dont stress it too much.

I understand how you feel because I have passed through the same thing. If your parents are christian they will usually believe that you are going to the fiery pits of hell which is their belief. If you believe in god and have your own practices then you and your parents should know that god is merciful and that he forgives us because we are not perfect. The right thing to do would be to stop hiding it from them and tell them about your interest in magic and its workings. Don't hide it from them just tell them. If your parents are the strict religious type and your are scared they will burn you alive or kill you then here are some tips to hide it from them:

-Do your practices at night and when they are not home

-Try not to act or give any suspicions by acting witchy.

-Keep your supplies hidden in a place you only know of.
