blowing out the candles..

I was told by a practitioner of magic to not blow out the candles with my breath because it would end the spell. Is this true? I was told to use a plate to put over it (I use glass covered candles) or something to snuff it out, take the oxygen out.

This is because I cannot have the candles burning all night.

One it's NOT true tho I use a silver candle snuffer myself. If you 'are' using them for a spell then NO it does NOT end the spell. If being 'used' for spells then WHY are they burning all night ?

yes never blow then out always use a snuffer, blowing them out blows the spell away x

theres no problem with blowing out candle and theres no cross affects to worry about. and its really each to there own, do what feels right

So it's ok to burn out the candles after the spell? It's not like it will not make it work right?

It is believed to disturb the energy of the spell when you blow out the candle, rather then snuffing it.

everything here is very simple:
If the ritual is said, blow out a candle or pay after the commission of certain acts in the ritual means to extinguish the candle and it can not be a bad thing.
If the text of the ritual does not say that it is necessary to pay off the candle, the candle on the rules must always burn until the end!
If you accidentally blew out the candle, it means a mistake in the ritual, and it has to be redone, because the with high probability we can say that the ritual will fail and the result will not be.
