I would like to summon an entity/dragon/demon or whatever and share my mind with it permanently.
I have been using recreational products to reach for "experiences" beyond the obvious reality. At one point i clearly witnessed a formless gold aura with my eyed closed. I felt my mind travelling to it, and felt myself be guided to it by "letting go" of something in my mind. While witnessing i experienced an emotion i never felt prior or again. After this i noticed all cats seem to act strange around me, having a desire to be in proximity of me but not necessarily close to me, and often staring at me strangely. Coincidentally or not i was born in the year of the cat.
I also feel that over the past few years that my consciousness has become naturally disconnected from reality due to my desires, and i feel a large space in my mind constantly growing.
I want to invite some kind of entity to my reality and allow it to share my mind with me. i strongly feel this is the next step in the path i am walking.
I personally don't have much of an interest in learning magic or spells, and obviously don't have much experience. I don't have the ambition or time, as i am much more interested in sound and music, which i spend all my free-time with. I believe i can aptly compensate with my understanding of self and my moral beliefs. In the last year my mind has become very calm and quiet due to the mindset i always hold. i want to fill this space now. i understand the consequences, have done reading, and can sensitize myself to a great amount of empathy. i want to take the risks, which i feel in itself are part of the reward in my journey.
one of the four major character that a magician should possess (in franz bardon's book) is to dare.. if you are inexperienced yet but willing to take the risk, then go.. as what the others said, EXPERIENCE IS THE BEST TEACHER.. you can find lots of techniques and guides on different grimoires but those things are nothing if you won't dare to use it and experience it first hand..

I have read a bit on this site and the consensus is usually a good number of spells and techniques listed here are completely fake. From my understanding some types of spirits would desire to connect to this reality for a while and would be happy to share my reality. Even if it turns out to be a demon with the goal of taking my reality from me, I am confident I know who I am and will remember my true beliefs. With their desire to come and my desire to call it should be simple to bring forth something, right? Could anyone explain clear steps I should take to achieve my goal in a short amount of time?
As you no doubt have been already told, summoning is not something many would suggest or even condone. Summoning is considered to be a rude act most often times. Im not going to say that it is or isnt, summoning has its own place and times.
If you are simply looking for an entity to guide you, share your time with, talk to or whatever I would suggest not summoning. Inviting an entity, demon, guide, spirit ect is a very effective way to fill this desire. No it doesnt work 100% of the time, its an invitation. However it keeps respect for the entity which in turn works out better for the practitioner.
Also research what it is your wanting to spend time with. Going off half cocked can cause things to get out of hand. Evidently your perception on demons needs a bit of work. Dont be afraid to look things up first. It can be helpful.
like I said, I can't differentiate between the false information and valid. Obviously logic doesn't work in supernatural matters... they are contradictory. If there is a difference between summon and invite, then yes I would prefer to invite, especially if it is easier. Researching demons is not going to make me afraid of them.
No and becoming afraid of demons is not why I suggested researching them. I personally work with them quite often and I do not have fear of them myself. However I make myself knowledgeable on histories, accounts, myths and all things surround them so I can better understand what capabilities and so forth that they are better known for.
Yes, you will find contradictory information out there, as with anything but research helps sort that out.
There is a large difference between inviting and summoning. Inviting can be done in many ways and leaves it open for the entity to come to you when it chooses if it does desire to do so. Summoning is more forceful and can in many cases anger what it is your summoning. Nothing likes being demanded even more so by those who dont know what they are doing.
I would suggest not doing it "permanently". Permanent is a strong word, something irreversable. If your mind is set on this, I would strongly suggest making the bind reversable by forming the link onto something physical that can be destroyed, or on an object you can wear (like a ring) that can allow the link to be disconnected by removing it/discarding it. This way, (do to your inexperience) if you discover you've made a mistake in the being you have chosen, you can dissolve the link easily. Nothing is truly "permanent" but even using the word alone can cause unnecessary difficulties if you change your mind hours, days, or even years in the future. Even friendships and marriages can turn sour, and such is the way of life when two people connect in any way.
