Plane and Projection

I've been wondering more about the Etheric Plane as I've heard very little about it,all I know really (Blunt basic knowledge of it.) is that is like the Astral Plane but more physical,and overlaps with the Physical Plane.And I was wondering what the difference is between projecting to the Astral or Etheric,would you focus on where you want to go before you go in a trance? How would you decide exactly?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mU3HVKxRw5Y&feature=related [hope no one gets tickt at me for posting this] ladysilvervixen talks about the three here and how to do it. typically when you project, you leave your body and are floating about it in your room, this is the etheric. you can then think 'astral' and go there, or you can continue to float around here and do whatever [kinda like a ghost, but you can't move stuff or try and possess people.] basically when you're projecting, you think of places you want to go or see and you're sent there.
