Not sure...visualization?

What is the difference between lusting after a result, which I assume is a negative and constant visualization?, I thought the more you visualized the end result the more likely it is to come into fruition, but if you lust after it, want it too much then it won't?

Since you mentioned this was having to do with sigils in chatter..

With visualization you may or may not remember the meaning of the sigil you created. If you do remember the meaning you may be lusting after the result if you constantly visualize. But visualization can also be a deliberate attempt to empower or charge it. Simply ask yourself whether or not you're visualizing it because you wish for results.

Lusting can lead to complications, but this isn't always the case. It can be distracting of the energy you already sent with the sigil, or it can be reinforcing it.

I would try both methods, (that is visualizing constantly to reinforce it and the other method of forgetting) and see which one works best for you.

A good method to help with forgetting the sigil is to use a banishing ritual. Or a method that works well for me is making many sigils of different purposes at once, this way it's harder to tell which is which later on.

Do you have to keep your sigil, is it something that you must write on paper, or could you engrave it on a candle? Can you burn the paper after writing the sigil?

You can place a sigil anywhere, it does not necessarily need to be on paper.I am sure many different people have different views of this, but I don't believe you always need to destroy the sigils that you create.
Another things is I would also look at what was your intention in creating it,and going from there whether or not you want to destroy it or keep it.

You don't give any background or foundation to to be able to answer properly. Are you talking about spells ? Rituals ? ??

Engraving a sigil on a candle for a spell, is it over kill?

If you 'engrave' a sigil onto a candle, the candle then becomes the 'force' behind the spell so you need NOT think/lust/or continue with anything just let the candle do its work...

You can do anything with the sigil so long as it is internalized (thats to say its registered in the conscious mind)
