Deja vu?
By:
Ok, when I have dreams, most of the time I don't remember the entire thing it's usually just bits and pieces. However, I do have dreams that are very vivid and detailed and I remember the entire thing, but the weird thing about them is that they come true. Every time I realize what is happening I just think its deja vu. But my question is how often do other people experience deja vu, cause for me it seems like every other day I have this feeling, and I'm just wondering if it could be something else.

You may like to rule out optical and neurological causes first :)

I definitly agree with Lilly on this one. Mental illnesses usually manifest around teh 18-25 year range but can appear as early as 13 years of age, or even later in life.

Doesn't deja vu have something to do with passed lives?

Sometimes it can, sometimes it may not. The Deja Vu can be just leftover feelings or more. Just rule out every possibility.

if it's that light headed feeling of 'whoa this is familiar' on a daily basis [almost] i'd see a doctor first.

our brain catches more than our eyes, and as we sleep our brain keeps working, once it figures something out, it tries to tell us through our dreams. a lot of the time our dreams are fun imaginations, but others they're prophetic or even psychic. without much detail beyond you have a dream then get deja vu, you're probably having prophetic dreams, your mind makes out what's going to happen. start keeping a dream diary, have it right by your bed so when you wake up, you can write everything down. since most of our dream is lost in less than 5 minutes, and there might be something important. keep in mind as i said not all dreams predict things, and not everything your dream says should be taken seriously, but it's a fun thing to do, and you should keep it in mind.

deja vu is different for each person. as a child i felt the rush of deja vu when i walked through one doorway in my grandparents house. it happened every time from age 7 to age 13, then it stopped. i don't think i've experienced any kind of deja vu since i was 16/17. if it happens a lot and you should look into it.

I doubt that its a mental illness. Deja Vu is a memory of a past life. It can also be showing a person that they have dreamt about this happening.

Deja Vu has 'nothing' to do with 'past life'. When your doing something and you 'get' the feeling I've been here before thats NOT past, it's the future you've seen somewhere. Other people experience deja vu but not as often as you'd think. Some have it, some don't.
