Spells, I have heard them all. Some are real. Some are fake. Which spells on here actually work? :) Thanks!!!

The best way to determine that is by using common sense. If it sounds like it wont work then it wont. Though, most of the spells on this site seem to be rather flaky. The best option is to write and cast your own spells, as you have better odds of success in that manner.

That is a good point. But if you make your own spells and cast them, how do you know they will work? Do you just have to believe? :)

Part of it is belief, but meditation and knowledge of a few other basics also help. If you like I can send you some information to get you started.

You say that spells take a few days to a week. But there are some spells that say they will work in seconds, hours, or in a day. So does that mean that the spell isn't true? Or doesn't work?

Ask yourself if the amount of time it will take makes any sense.

In the case of something like a banishing, that's pretty instant. A job-hunting spell on the other hand... is one just supposed to fly in through the window? That'll probably take at least a week and is pretty doomed to failure if you don't send out your resume.
