energy balls: basic

Okay, so i've been self taught on the practices on chi and chakra. I know how to do a lot of things but never learned the names of them. For those of you interested in starting out with your chi(or ki) I suggest the chi ball. Make sure you're in a place that is quiet and you won't be disturbed because the first few times will need a lot of concentration so don't get discouraged easily. Then once you've done that you cup your hands but leave room for light to pass thru, then clear your mind and focus on your energy and the colour of the emotion, imagine that colour taking shape and settling in your hand. Now don't overthink it, just go with your instinct, i remember trying to shape it to what i wanted it to be, just let your energy do all the work(: let me know how this worked out for you or if i missed out on some basic steps!
