hi my magic name is stetsola Ilive in a tuff closed minded northern town with a uncle who is so anty magic i think he might still be liveing in the burning times there are no magic shops in my town and i kindof like it like that no way for him to find out anyway any tips for a starting solo wiccan who has to hide what she beleaves in I'm open.

The best thing I can suggest is this: Master your basics. Meditate as much as you can, and research before you practice anything more complicated than that. I personally researched for almost 2 years before beginning to cast spells, and I still research topics to this day, just to learn more. Also, if your family has good reason to forbid you from practicing or researching magic, then perhaps you should abide by their wishes, at least until you move out on your own..?

Wicca comes from the meaning wise, so learn everything you can. Meditate and balance yourself (mind, body, and spirit). You are the only instrument needed in magick, so working on yourself and attuning yourself to your spirit is the most important step in magick.

But you do not need to be Wiccan to do magick. Magick is in every culture/religion whether they call it that or not. Wicca is a religion. Magick is an art and a way of life. Spells and rituals are just an outward use of the connection of what has been formed within.
