Hi! I just thought I could share different gods/goddesses from african, egyptian, greek, roman and norse mythology.
You can add a post as well if you want to write about one. Here I go!

~Hel: Norse goddess of the Dead~
Hel is the daughter of Loki (norse god of trickery) Angrboda (Giantess). She also has two other siblings. She was born with her bones exposed on the outside of her body, one half of her body darker than the other, and looked very sickly and half dead.
So she was often avoided even in Asgard. That made things extremely difficult for Hel, because her appearance caused the other Gods to feel so uncomfortable that they avoided having anything to do with her. aww..Poor hel. Being seen as an oddity, being avoided, and having no friends was very difficult for Hel to deal with. She was extremely unhappy, and filled with loneliness. After much deliberation, Hel made an important decision. She went to Odin and explained to him how difficult her life was there, and then she asked for his permission to leave Asgard. Odin sympathized with Hel, so he granted her wish. Much more importantly, he also gave her the World of Niflheim, one of the Nine Worlds of Norse Mythology, to rule. He even went so far as to name that place after her! Calling it Helheim or Hel. That was how Hel became the Goddess of the Dead.
In return for giving her Niflheim, Odin gave Hel certain responsibilities that she had to carry out in that realm. He charged her with caring for the souls of people who had died from sickness or old age, and for the souls of any other people whose deaths had not occurred through violence or in battle.

African god= Anansi, god of wisdom and culture, trickster god, visier to nyambe, former chieftan to the Ashanti.
(warning, I don't know much on this guy >.>)
Anansi was once just a human who lived as a chief in a region which is now Ghana. They said he had unnatural abilities to swing through trees like a spider. One day he decided to climb higher than anyone all the way to the sky and found a celestial web into heaven, which is where he met Nyambe (ruler of the african gods). Anansi wanted proof to take back to earth that he had climbed so far, so he was given stories and wisdom of heaven. But in return, Anansi had to do perilous tasks and serve Nyambe for the rest of his life.
He told his stories and wisdom to all of the people, and helped them with farming, and other things.
Oh and he is also part of The Vodu. (all the african gods/goddesses)
I hope you don't mind if I add a british-celtic goddess :)
Brigantia: goddess of war, fertility, healing, water and prosperity.
Brigantia was the tribal goddess of the Brigantes, the British Celts living in the large region named after her, in northern England. The Romans identified Brigantia with Minverva (Athena).
Brigantia was a popular goddess, where she was worshipped and called Brigindo in Gaul (France), and Brigit in Ireland.
Brigantia was the goddess of war, healing and water. Brigantia was also goddess of fertility and prosperity.
Attributes: .Because her worship goes back to like the pre-dynastic times, we find Hathor being close with many local goddesses, and it can be said that all the goddesses were forms of Hathor. Sometimes we find her playing the role of a sky-goddess, a sun-goddess, a moon-goddess, a goddess of the east, a goddess of the west, a goddess of moisture, a goddess of fertility, an agricultural goddess, and a goddess of the underworld. So .......I guess lots of people were either confused or really liked her XD
Relations: Daughter of Nut and Ra. Wife of Ra, mother of Ihy. Many legends show her as the mother of Horus the Elder. Other as the wife of Horus of Edfu, The fruit of this union was Horus the Younger .
