About Chanting and energy

Hi, i'll make it simple, tell me what you think.

I see spells that has only chants, without any candle, or any other herb or ingridient, when we do candle spells, we charge our energy and release it (with a psi ball)

My questions are:

1. does magic chants take any amount of energy? or just needs concentration, any other thing you want to add? please do

2. do you need to release energy when doing any kind of magic? or only with candle spells? and what about other spells?

3. does magic takes energy only when you cast it? or even days afterwards?

1.Yes it takes your energy a little amount,concentration can't be taken away.So just a little life energy but it recoveres back.

2.Depends on the spell,ritual or anything you may do for...

3.Depends on the spell,some do have aftermath side effects,some don't.
