I'm being harassed online

I'm being harassed online and i want to cast a spell to make them sorry they harassed me.
I'm not to casting spells with confidence and i'm concerned that the spell might backfire.
How can i protect myself from this?

If you're not confidant in your own abilities then perhaps you shouldn't consider using magic. Confidence in yourself and your abilities is a big part of magic. If yo believe you'll fail then you most likely will.

If you look in the site spell lists there should be one for protection spells or you could write one of your own. I would recommend making one yourself simply because many of the ones on the site don't work and writing and casting one yourself increases its odds of success.

If these people are harassing you and refuse to leave you be, have you considered going to the authorities? They should be able to check the chat logs or e-mails and take the appropriate actions to prevent further contact from the individuals in question. You should only use magic as a last resort, in my opinion. If the issue can be handled without the use of magic then it should be taken care of in that manner.

Just a suggestion i'm pretty new to all this so...

don't know the site, but you could block them, or ignore them when you see 'you've got a new message from the jerk who bugs you' just delete it. you could also print off the emails, do not respond remember, and take it to someone in authority if you know the person. if you don't know the person, call the police, i think many countries are passing laws that state harassment on the internet is a criminal offense.

if you want a spell, look into protection, or maybe a simple hex that cause them bad luck or something. i call them 'karma hexes' because the person deserves it, but nothing too severe, say they pick on you, a bit of bad luck serves them right. personally i'd go the legal route over the magical.

Spells very rarely backfire since your intent helps direct the magic.

Still this is more something to get the police involved or to ignore. Magic shouldnt and cant be used for everything but it can help make alot of things easier.
