Born under what religion?

Before going into wicca, what was your religion before???

raised Anglacan Catholic then turned to Atheist then Wicca and off and on from Atheist to Wicca for a few years

I've been doing magic before the concept of religion got to me. I was only 6 when I started. So I never really had a prior religion. My parents have tried to make me catholic but they soon found out the entire family would be banished from the church if they continued. However I do say I'm atheist to people outside the craft.

Like most of us, I've always had a passion and a strong belief for magick since i was a small child. but I had the concept of God banged into my head. Around 11 or 12 I came across Paganism and Wicca. I started studying a little here and there, and then finally started practicing a few weels after turning 16. Been Wiccan ever since.

Born Methodist (form of Christianity) and when I was around 6 my grandfather taught me Wicca without telling me what it was. I was told to keep it a secret and continued going to church. When I was 10 I found paganism and that led me to Wicca and I then learned I had been practicing it for years.

Mostly went to church when i was little i know i was baptist when i was little when we went as a family when i was little to church. But i think i stopped going in around middle school. But now i am more open minded about a lot of different religions. I like to learn about a lot of things in religion or magick related.

I am not wiccan. But i was born under Paganism and after my familia died. I was adopted by jewish familia.

christian. my dad's side is Irish Catholics and my mom's English Anglican's. i still enjoy church, kind of makes me nostalgic for my youth, even photograph old churches as a hobby. i converted to Wicca [kinda feel i should start saying 'witchcraft' for my beliefs] in my teens. it wasn't out of spite, i just had a falling out with Christianity, some of the things it taught, and the people teaching it, not God. Wicca just felt right to me. my mom's side is fine with it, my dad's side, kind of doesn't know... except for my cousin who has converted to The Salvation Army, and she's fine with it. we actually have rather deep philosophical discussions, but that's nothing new lol.
