magic stone losing power

i have this really cool stone that my dad found when i was little and i think it's magic. when i turn it over this pink dust comes from a hole in the center of the top of the rock. but now that i have chizled at it it has this pink circle around the hole that was never there b4.

and i washed the stone and now it has these black marks all over the bottom. I'm afraid it might be losing any sort of power it may have. how do i renew it???????

The stone is wearing out.
Get a new stone, wash it, and then put it in the sunlight for 30 seconds, then hold in between both hands for another 30 seconds. Get a tin box of some sort (such as Altoids mints, or those mini tin lunchboxes, or any other small tin box.) Put new and old stones in the tin and let them sit in the box for 3 days so the energies transfer over to the new stone.
