Strange Dream

I had a dream that a man completely clad in black (black hoodie, black jogging pants, black sneakers) with no face was chasing me. He began chasing after he saw me and my dad(we were walking the dog) walk pass him and my dog (also black) began sniffing him. I pulled her away and told my dad to run, so we did. To me surprise, he began chasing me. After turning a corner, he took out a meat cleaver and threw at us.
I woke up after, and when I began to dream again my friend said that the man was her grandfather??? I've never seen her grandfather, and I couldn't even see the man's face...
Does this dream mean something, or is it just a strange dream? I didn't feel too scared though, I've had one scarier dream about wooden dummies.

just saying but wooden dummies might be something to do with slenderman

Oh whew okay XD It just felt really real and I don't like the feeling of being chased.
I think the wooden dummies were from me reading too much Goosebumps as a kid; the dummy's name was Slappy so... I think that was that

The truth about dream interpretation is that it's all just psycho-analysis based off of varying theories. Not a single person can really tell you exactly why you see what it is you see when dreaming. Dreams are steam let off by your subconscious at the end of the day when your body is tired and needs rest. Dreams are basically what you think about when you're asleep. What something specifically means in your dreams can only be accurately depicted by you. No one knows your subconscious like you do and if you don't, but you want your dream interpretated, I suggest you figure it out.
