i have heard this time and time again that the spells that you cast are the most powerful, but has anybody ever thought that maybe you just cannot do it? You feel like the situation is just too much for you to deal with on your own or you just dont feel like you have enough experience or time to take care of it?
isnt part of handelling your issues is using what resources you have? what if you have somebody who is willing to cast a spell for you? is it really in your best interest to leave your troubles in the hands of somebody who you trust?
-sigh- this was just something that i wanted to get off my chest.
While I do see the point you are trying to make, there are a couple of things to consider.
First, why do you feel that it is too much for you? What is it that has caused the limiting belief that you do not have access to all the same resources that other people do? These limiting beliefs are what we work at overcoming as we grow in magical studies.
Second, if someone else takes care of the problem, how are you going to get experience? How are you going to grow so that it is no longer a problem? Are you going to run to someone else everytime the problem occurs? How is that truely helping you?
Third (and I mean no disrespect to anyone), these people you are talking to are in a message form and chat room. You mention trusting us. How can you trust people you do not know? This site is full of "13 year old high priest/ess vampire shaman wolf magicians". There are some people who are very knowledgeable here. There are some I wouldn't trust as far as I can toss a Buick. If you don't have the experience, why are you trusting others? The first thing everyone should learn is discernment.
If you give a hungry man a fish, he won't be hungry for today. If you teach him how to fish, he won't be hungry for the rest of his life. We tell you to do it yourself for your benefit.
I agree with Shawn on this. Sometime you wont be able to find help and then were would you be. Learning to do it yourself may also give you better insight as to if it worked or not. If it does not work you would probably have a good foundation to try again because it is easier to find what went wrong. As for casting spells, try pushing away doubt (this is one of the main reasons they fail) and doing your best at it. even if you fail, which is not at all uncommon for someone new to magick, your still gaining experience. keep trying and youll most likely come to see that the only real force holding you back is yourself. practice some basics first. these give insight and knowledge as to how spells work. They also can give a person some more confidence in spell casting. There should be several threads and articles dedicated to the basics on this site.
